The primary mission of the Church Revolution is to teach the truth of the gospel but the church cannot be revolutionized without changing the covetous nature of her leaders. Our secondary mission therefore is to encourage pastors to STOP pressuring GOD’s people to give 10% of their income or a dime for every dollar they earn. There is NO such thing as disposable income. GOD gave them that extra money to start businesses, create a financial legacy or an inheritance for their children’s children, and build viable economies within their communities. Taking 10% of people’s money generates poverty in the church community as well as lust and greed in the hearts of church leaders. I have seen good men and women “turn on a dime” and become greedy, lustful, and abusive to GOD’s people once they start taking that 10%.
At the revolution, we do not receive tithes. The church can overcome the world, spread the truth of the gospel throughout the world, and be blessed abundantly without tithing.
